Verhoef Consultancy performs regularly energy audits. The energy audit aims at the realization of energy savings, the prevention of energy waste, and optimizing the use of thermal rest products, such as heat recovery.

During the energy audit, the energy flows are inventoried and analyzed. An energy balance will be set up, and based on the energy balance and additional logistical and building data, energy-saving possibilities including a cost-profit analysis will be presented. A water audit can be combined with an energy audit.

Historically, Verhoef Consultancy is a specialist in increasing the efficiency of a refrigeration installation. Existing installation concepts are examined for possible improvements. Based on the results and the ideas of the customer an improvement plan will be set up, such that proposed improvements are realistic and can be carried out on the most natural moments.

Due to the long technical lifetime of refrigeration installations, it pays to periodically have your refrigeration installation checked for energy saving possibilities. Energy savings possibilities can be the usage of the installation, but can also be replacement of components in the installation or added functionality. Natural moments for changes or modifications in the refrigeration design can for example be changes in law and legislations such as Environmental Management Act, and R22 phase out legislation.
